How fast can a hoverboard go?

They can go as fast as 10 miles per hour.

What is the weight limit?

Our hoverboards were engineered to support up to 265 pounds, though we recommend heavy riders to be careful.

What is the minimum age?

Hoverboards are very safe devices.

The minimum rider age we recommend is 8 years old (though there are many 6 years-olds riding it without any problems, of course with adult supervision).

Children between the ages of 8 and 12 should be supervised by an adult.

Riders aged 16+ should have no problem using our hoverboards without adult supervision.

What kind of batteries does it use?

All our hoverboards use authentic, 100% fire proof UL Certified Li-Ion batteries.

Why does this matter?

The most common battery in a hoverboard is the "Chinese battery," which is a cheap battery that is included in all standard hoverboards from China. That battery is unsafe and won't last longer. Ours, however, should cause you no problems for a very long time.

Our batteries last longer

Chinese batteries have 4,000 mAh x 10 cells and last approximately 300 cycles. Our batteries however, have 4,400 mAh x 10 cells, resulting in 44,000 mAh in total vs 40,000 mAh.

Because of this alone, our batteries last at a bare minimum 10% longer than the common Chinese batteries. Though sometimes a lot longer!

Our authentic Li-Ion batteries climb steeper inclines

In addition to lasting longer, they also have more power. More power means that you can take your hoverboard up steeper inclines than with the cheap common Chinese batteries.

We believe quality products build trust and this is why we decided to include the highest quality battery pack in all of our hoverboards.

Will my hoverboard battery blow up?

In short, we highly doubt it. As mentioned above, we only use top-quality batteries in our hoverboards. At the time of this writing, there have been no reports of our hoverboards blowing up.

How long does the battery last?

Our batteries last from 5 to 6 hours. The duration of the battery is directly dependent upon the weight of the rider and conditions in which they ride.

In that time, a rider can expect to travel up to 12.5 miles on a single charge.

How long does it take to charge?

It takes between 120-150 minutes to fully charge the hoverboard. We recommend unplugging it after 3 hours to maintain battery life.

How much power is in the battery?

Our batteries are 44,000 mAh. That's more battery power than 15 iPhone 6s Plus cell phones!

In most cases, yes.

The hoverboard is much smaller than a typical segway, leaving a footprint about as wide as your shoulders would be if you were walking.

Some urban jurisdictions have outlawed segways due to their size. Make sure to check with your local authorities and statutes to ensure the legality of riding a hoverboard in your local area.

But, in general, hoverboards are legal to ride in most jurisdictions and an enjoyable experience at that.

How hard is it to learn to ride a hoverboard?

Believe it or not, learning to ride a hoverboard is very easy.

Most people who get on a hoverboard learn the basic maneuvers within minutes and are riding around very comfortably another 10 to 15 minutes afterwards.

How much energy does riding a hoverboard take?

The short answer is not much energy at all.

The long answer is that if you are riding a hoverboard for longer periods of time, you may experience some soreness in your calf muscles. This goes for all hoverboards.

If you use your hoverboard on a regular basis, the soreness with dissipate since your muscles will get used to the exercise.

How durable your hoverboards are?

We've engineered our hoverboards to be incredibly durable.

The wheels are very thick and made of real rubber, not that cheap plastic you see on low quality hoverboards.

All our hoverboards are made to handle bumps, cracks, and even small curbs, typically up to a full inch.

Just do us a favor and be careful when riding across this type of terrain! :)

What happens if I get it wet?

If you get your hoverboard a little wet, don't fret. We've engineered them to be protected from dust, wind, and splashing water.

Each of our hoverboards was built to an IP code rating of IP54.

Although we've build our hoverboards to be dust and water resistant, we still suggest riding them away from sandy places such as the beach, and also away from water.

Is this real or a prank?

This hoverboard is real and it is not a prank. We have these in stock in the United Kingdom and are ready to ship yours directly to you!
